Accounts Assistant- Recievable at Collection Africa Limited

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA Part II or above.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or credit control, preferably in a busy SME environment.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Duties
• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner and in line with contractual terms.
• Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to ensure timely collections.
• Follow up on overdue accounts through calls, emails, visits, demand letters among others.
• Post customer payments and allocate to correct accounts in accounting software.
• Maintain an updated customer ageing report and provide periodic reports to management.
• Respond promptly to client billing queries and resolve disputes.
• Liaise with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth invoicing and payment processes.
• Handle additional administrative and finance-related duties
