    Accreditation Officer Scheme Development

    Duties and Responsibilities

    The duties and responsibilities of the selected candidate will entail:

    1. Identifying new areas of accreditation
    2. Researching emerging areas of interest in accreditation for the development of new schemes
    3. Reviewing the criteria for conformity assessments for development of the new schemes;
    4. Collecting, collating and documenting data on accreditation to inform scheme development /enhancement;
    5. Identifying of conformity assessment bodies for piloting of new schemes;
    6. Piloting new scheme introductions to enable readiness before integration as mainstream accreditation activities;
    7. Identifying, screening, sensitizing, and promoting new areas of accreditation; and
    8. Developing a work plan for the working groups and evaluate their performance.

    Academic and Professional Qualifications

    1. Bachelor’s degree in Science related fields from a recognized institution;
    2. Proficiency in Computer application; and
    3. Fulfil the requirement of Chapter Six (6) of the constitution.

    Method of Application

Any HANDWRITTEN or SCANNED Bio-Data form not submitted as an Excel file will be rejected.

All applications should be received on or before 5:00 pm (East African Time) on 31st August 2022.

    Note 2: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews. Canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.

    Note 3: Successful candidates after interviews will be required to obtain the following documents:

    • Certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)
    • Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
    • Clearance Certificate from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
    • Clearance from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
    • Clearance Certificate from a Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
