    Adjunct Lecturer - Digital Communication and Corporate Communication

    USIU-Africa is looking for a highly skilled and experienced adjunct lecturers to join our faculty in Digital Communication and Corporate Communication. The ideal candidate will have expertise in strategic communication, digital public relations, corporate branding, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement in the digital era, with a strong commitment to academic excellence, research, and industry collaboration.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and practical training in digital and corporate communication.
    • Design and update curricula to align with emerging trends in corporate communication, digital media strategies, and reputation management.
    • Supervise student projects, internships, and research in corporate communication, digital branding, and online reputation management.
    • Provide mentorship and career guidance to students pursuing communication roles in corporate and public organizations.
    • Conduct scholarly research, contribute to publications, and participate in professional development activities.
    • Foster partnerships with corporate organizations, PR agencies, and digital communication firms for industry collaboration and student exposure.
    • Contribute to the department’s strategic initiatives and interdisciplinary programs.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • A Master’s or Ph.D. in Corporate Communication, Digital Communication, Public Relations, Media Studies, or a related field.
    • At least 3-5 years of industry experience in corporate communication, digital PR, or strategic communication.
    • Strong understanding of digital media strategies, online crisis management, stakeholder engagement, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) communication.
    • Proficiency in communication analytics, digital media tools, and content management systems.
    • Experience in curriculum development and higher education teaching.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • A track record of research, publications, or professional contributions to the communication industry is an added advantage.

    Preferred Skills

    • Expertise in corporate storytelling, digital advocacy, and AI-driven communication strategies.
    • Experience in internal communication, employee branding, and leadership communication.
    • Ability to integrate data analytics, digital listening tools, and social media strategies into corporate communication training.
