    Administration Officer I Grade 10 - 3 Posts

    Duties And Responsibilities 

    The duties and responsibilities shall include but are not limited to:

    • Assist in the implementation of administrative functions of the division, department, school, Unit or section.
    • Taking minutes in various committees.
    • Supervision of staff under them.
    • Advice the head of department on all matters relating to the department.
    • Assist in the setting and implementation of the departmental PC targets.
    • Assist in the adherence to the Quality Management Standards (QMS) for the implementation of the performance management system of the department.
    • Support planning and budgeting in the division, department, school, Unit or section.
    • Any other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.

    Requirements For Appointment

    For appointment to this grade, one MUST have:

    • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a recognized University.
    • At least six (6) years’ relevant work experience with at least three (3) years as an Administration Officer II in a university or its equivalent. 
    • Proficiency in computer applications packages.
    • Registered member of a recognized professional body.
    • Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the 2010 Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity upon successful appointment.
