Mandatory Requirements

For appointment to this grade an Officer must have:

• Cumulative service period of Six (6) years relevant work experience three (3) of which should have been in the grade of Artisan II or in a comparable position;
• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D (Plain) or its equivalent qualification;
• National Trade Test II Certificate in any of the following areas of specialization: Carpentry & Joinery, Masonry, Tailoring, Plumbing, Welding & Fabricating, Electrical or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
• Proficiency in computer applications; and Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
