Architectural Technician at Gap Recruitment Services Limited

Job Purpose:

• We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Architectural Technician to join our rapidly growing company and dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all architectural duties are executed in accordance with company standards, with a strong emphasis on Quality, Health & Safety, and Sustainability considerations. As an Architectural Technician, you will be expected to demonstrate a high level of self-motivation, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to operate efficiently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance:

• Execute architectural tasks in adherence to the company's quality standards, ensuring precision and attention to detail in all aspects of the design and documentation process.

Health & Safety Compliance:

• Prioritize and uphold health and safety protocols throughout the architectural workflow, contributing to a secure and compliant working environment.

Sustainability Integration:

• Integrate sustainable design principles into architectural projects, aligning with the company's commitment to environmental responsibility.

Self-Motivation:

• Demonstrate initiative and self-drive in approaching tasks, projects, and deadlines. Take ownership of responsibilities and contribute to the overall efficiency of the architectural team.

Communication Skills:

• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey architectural concepts and ideas. Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Coordination Expertise:

• Demonstrate proficiency in coordinating services and structures within architectural projects, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

Change Management:

• Manage changes effectively in a fast-paced architectural environment, adapting to evolving project requirements and deadlines.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively within a team environment, fostering positive relationships and contributing to a cohesive and productive work atmosphere.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in computer applications such as Revit or ArchiCAD is a prerequisite.
• A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Design Technician, or its equivalent, coupled with tangible experience in design, detailing, and/or construction practice, is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a comparable role is required.
• Demonstrated experience in services and structure coordination is essential.
• Familiarity with design tools like 3ds Max, Lumion, SketchUp, Rhino, or their equivalents is expected.
• A team player with leadership skills and a flexible, open-minded attitude is sought after\
