Art & Design Teacher
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification BA/BSc/HND
- Experience 5 years
- Location Nairobi
- Job Field Art / Crafts / Languages , Education / Teaching / Training
Key Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required:
- At least five years demonstrable teaching experience in a recognized International School preferably one delivering Cambridge Assessment International Education.
- Bachelor of Education degree with specialization in the relevant area i.e Art & Design/Music/ICT from a recognized institution.
- Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission.
Skills, knowledge, abilities & values
- Demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of current educational issues relating to the specialist subject areas
- Strong leadership skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Embrace team spirit
- Ability to work with a diverse student body
- Self-driven
- Be willing to inspire, challenge, motivate and empower students
- Deep understanding of child protection and safeguarding
