Assistant Accountant-Cashier at Nation Media Group

Required Skills:     

Key Responsibilities and Duties: -

• Administration of Petty cash float;
• Preparation of audit schedules;
• Daily reconciliation on upfront collections and revenue;
• Adherence to the cashiers' policy;
• Customer service;
• Ability to attend and resolve both internal and external queries;
• Preparation and submission of daily/ weekly/ monthly reports;
• Clearing advertisements against payments;
• Following up on reimbursements and surrender of imprest as per approved procedures.
• Any other task that may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills: -

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce from a recognized institution;
• Certified Public Accountants CPA (K);
• 1 year experience in a busy and fast paced environment;
• Must have demonstrable hands-on experience with an accounting system;
• Knowledge of SAP or Naviga system will be an added advantage;
• Must have a valid certificate of good conduct;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Excellent analytical skills;
