Assistant Chief Pharmacist, Grade 11- University Health Services, UHS - 11 Positions

Job specifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Higher Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology or related field
- Registered with the Kenya Pharmacy and Poisons Board or any other applicable Board/Body
- Three (3) years experience as a Pharmaceutical Technologist Grade 8/9/10 (DEF)
Duties and responsibilities
The duties of the Assistant Chief Pharmacist shall include but are not limited to:
- Process and issue drugs as per doctor’s prescription
- Guide patients on proper use of drugs, adherence and other adverse effects occasioned by the drug.
- Proper drug and related records keeping.
- Replenishing drugs in stores to ensure consistency in availability of drugs to patients
- Stocking and pricing of medications in inventory
- Prepare medication for patients
- Carry out monthly stock takes and reconciliation
- Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor from time to time
