Job Requirements

• Be a holder of Bachelor’s Degree in the following discipline Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Marketing or related field from a recognized institution in Kenya
• Be a holder of a master’s degree in Tourism Management, Marketing or a related field from a recognized institution
• Member of recognized professional Marketing or Tourism body
• Must have relevant knowledge and experience of not less than 3 years in a related area 
• Demonstrate professional competency in work performance and result
• Must satisfy requirement of Chapter six of the constitution of Kenya 2010

Job Description

• Develop a strategic plan, annual work plan and align them to the County Integrated Development Plan
• Assist in Coordination and management of all forms of tourism activities to market Nairobi as a destination
• Prepare monthly reports,
• Work with stakeholders in the industry to establish development strategies, programme, policies to promote tourism
• Develop a framework for production and management of tourism products within the county.
• Develop and implement a tourism marketing plan
• Overseeing/designing and printing of marketing publications
• Gather and prepare periodic progress report for the department
• Perform any other related duty that maybe assigned.
