The 1979 Act established KEMRI as a National body responsible for carrying out health research in Kenya.

Position Description: The Kenya Medical Research Institute/Centre for Global Health Research (KEMRI/CGHR), the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are collaborating to conduct research on malaria, HIV, TB , COVID–19 and other diseases of public health importance. An opportunity is currently open for young motivated and enthusiastic Laboratory technologist within Malaria laboratory to work with the Immunology and Molecular Biology team
