Assistant Product Development Manager, Consumer Lending & Savings at KCB Bank Kenya

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and execute the product roadmap and product strategy within Digital Consumer Lending and Savings market segment.
• Develop and maintain product backlog while leveraging on data and analytics to define priority and value impact of the feature enhancements. 
• Liaise with vendors & technology teams to ensure correct definition, documentation, and implementation of product requirements for new products and customizations of existing products to meet specific customer needs.
• Identify, document & implement changes for product improvements arising from audits, staff & customer feedback, and compliance, in liaison with internal stakeholders from technology and other departments.  
• Collaborate with technology, vendors, marketing teams and other business stakeholders to drive meaningful outcomes and ensure cohesive user experience.
• Support planning, tracking, and reporting of progress of requirements delivery including production verification and testing of functionality. 
• Leverage data, gather feedback and synthesize information to make product enhancement recommendations and follow through with execution. 
• Provide training and product awareness to product support teams including customer facing and back-office support teams.

The successful candidate should have the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree preferably in Technology, Engineering, or Business-related from a from a recognized university.
• Certification in Digital Product Development/ Project Management/ AGILE Methodologies and Practices will be an added advantage
• At least three (3) years of work experience in digital product development, including experience in the following areas: 
  • Digital Product Development.
  • Delivery of mobile financial products and services in a high-growth environment
  • UI/UX Design and Agile practices
  • Business analysis
  • Project Management/Relationship Management.
  • Mobile Money or Payments or Lending Platform Support.
  • Credit Analysis & Lending
