    Associate HR Operations Specialist

    Job Purpose and Impact

    The Human Resources Operations Specialist I - Payroll will contribute to the design of payroll processes that align with company needs and follow government regulations. In this role, you will complete, verify and process forms and documentation to coordinate benefits, such as pension plans and unemployment and medical insurance. You will deliver accurate and detailed human resource administration that complies with country legislation and internal policies and procedures and provide high level service support to business functions, management and reporting.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Provide information to employees and managers on payroll matters, tax issues and benefit plans.
    • Help maintain and reconcile payroll records and verify and coordinate payroll data.
    • Monitor and manage payroll legislation compliance.
    • Collect and report leaves sickness leaves, paid and unpaid leaves.
    • Organize and coordinate requests for employment contract changes.
    • Monitor activities related to new hires process.
    • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and experience with HR databases
    • Other minimum qualifications may apply

    Preferred Qualifications

    • HR Practicing Certificate (CHRP) 
    • Proficient in English and other language, verbal and written
    • Minimum four years of directly related work experience
    • Minimum of two years of experience in human resources administration
    • Experience working within a multinational company is an added advantage
