With increasing demand for psychological services from individuals and enterprises alike, there is a great need for accessible mental health care that is integrated with existing insurance plans. Shamiri Health offers insurers an effective and affordable alternative to the long and costly traditional therapies that drive up claims. The platform uses a precision-care algorithm to deliver personalized digital and in-person treatment based on patients' symptom type and level of severity, keeping care relevant and costs low.

Shamiri Health is built on three years and $1.4 million in research and development by our team of expert scientists from Harvard University, Kenyatta University, and others. Clinical trials of our unique provider model, which makes use of trained lay-providers, certified psychologists, and expert clinicians, have yielded promising results.

About the role:

• The Biz Dev Intern will support the Associates on the following tasks:

Sales operations

• Maintain potential client database and support corporate client outreach
• Manage contracts and billing processes
• Support product demos and onboarding processes

Provider operations

• Support provider referrals and scheduling processes
• Compile provider documentation and materials
• Maintain database of potential insurance providers
• Support insurer onboarding processes
• Manage insurance billing processes
