Boiler Operator at Mini Group

Position Summary

• Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Boiler Operator will operate and monitor boiler systems, perform routine maintenance, respond to boiler-related emergencies, and maintain accurate operational and maintenance records. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to support production goals.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate boilers to generate steam and hot water for processing equipment.
• Perform startup and shutdown procedures safely in accordance with SOPs.
• Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of boiler equipment.
• Assist in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs as required.
• Monitor fuel, water treatment, and energy efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, fuel consumption, maintenance, and safety checks.
• Respond promptly to boiler malfunctions, leaks, or pressure fluctuations.
• Support safety compliance, reporting potential hazards immediately.
• Assist skilled technicians (electricians, plumbers, HVAC) as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.

Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in boiler maintenance or HVAC operations, preferably in food processing or manufacturing.
• Valid Boiler Operator License or certification is required. Experience with high-pressure steam boilers is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and food processing standards.
