Business Analyst (AI) - IT & Telco (Africa) at Mitsumi Distribution

• We are seeking an EMEA-certified Business Analyst with a passion for AI to join our growing AI and Robotics department. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, focusing on AI opportunities within the IT and Telco industries in Africa.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough business analysis to identify opportunities for utilizing AI to solve business problems in IT and Telco industries in Africa, focusing on areas like fraud detection, network optimization, customer churn prediction, and personalized services.
• Develop detailed requirements documents for AI projects, incorporating stakeholder feedback and technical feasibility, ensuring alignment with regulatory compliance in African markets.
• Work closely with technical teams (e.g., engineers, data scientists) to translate business needs into technical specifications, considering specific AI subfields relevant to IT and Telco (e.g., computer vision, natural language processing).
• Evaluate the business value and impact of potential AI solutions, considering costs, benefits, ethical implications, and potential risks.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including C-level executives, product managers, and IT/Telco specialists.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest AI trends and their potential impact on different industries in Africa, attending relevant conferences, workshops, and online communities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a business analyst.
• EMEA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience working with AI projects (preferred).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of IT and Telco industries (preferred).
• Knowledge of BFSI, healthcare, and education markets (a plus).
• Fluency in English and French (preferred).
