Business Development Officer (Agents) at Pioneer Assurance

Job Description

•  We are looking for a Business Development Officer who will play a key role in expanding the general insurance portfolio hence driving the growth and success of the company.
• The incumbent will be responsible for acquiring profitable new business through Agents and implementing strategies to help achieve the company's sales and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Acquisition of new agents' relationships.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the company
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other departments to develop and implement business development strategies
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
• Achieve or exceed sales and revenue targets per Month
• Increasing client base
• Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
• Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
• Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
• Researching business opportunities and viable income
• Monitor industry trends and market conditions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or Marketing and any other Business related field.
• Significant progress in professional papers. i.e. (Diploma in Insurance, CIM etc.)
• At least 4 years of experience in Business Development specifically General Business, sales, or a related field.
• Experience dealing with Agents.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Experience managing budgets and reviewing financial statements
