Business Intelligence Analyst at Topup Mama

Responsibilities

1. Provide the entire organization with accurate and timely business intelligence solutions based on requirements gathered through business requirements activities
2. Maintain and support existing business intelligence solutions
3. Proactively source new and innovative solutions that provide clear business value and construct ‘proof of concepts to demonstrate the new solutions
4. Proactively identify any technical project risks/issues related to business intelligence
5. Estimate and deliver business intelligence project tasks to agreed prioritization and timeframes
6. Engage internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical requirements
7. Assist product owners and department heads in designing, agreeing, implementing, and managing changes to the business intelligence environment
8. Maintain accurate technical documentation
9. Communicate data and insights

Who you are
We believe that a great Business Intelligence Analyst can come from any industry and organizational background and there are no set years of experience required to fill this position excellently. However, preference will be given to the following:

1. Proficiency and hands-on development experience in creating dashboards in Tableau, ReDash, and other data visualization platforms
2. Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft tools such as word, PowerPoint and excel
3. Business intelligence experience with 4 years of working experience in a similar role at a similar level.
4. Track record of substantial success in a similar role at a similar level. With the experience of current best practices and up-to-date ideas on the maintenance and presentation of ‘mission-critical business information for executive teams
5. Significant experience in numerical, financial, or other analysis and interpretative techniques
6. Experience in producing high-level graphical representations of data in an insightful and user-friendly format and an understanding of the best way to communicate analytical information
7. Proven strong affiliation with helping small business owners grow
