    Calibration Assistant

    Key duties and responsibilities.

    • Ensuring safety of all company equipment’s i.edrones, RTKs
    • Timely repair and maintenance survey instruments.
    • Calibration, Testing and configuration of survey instrument.
    • Technical support on Survey instruments to our customers.
    • Keeping and updating equipment hire records.
    • Technical support to clients.
    • Hiring and keeping hire records for equipment.
    • Proper documentation of Goods dispatched/received from site.
    • In-store product losses/damages kept at a minimum.
    • Ensure the safety/security of the stores/goods.
    • Take part in monthly, quarterly, and annual stock taking and respond to queries on variances.
    • Any other duty assigned by management.

    Job Specifications.

    • Bachelor of Science in Geospatial Information System(GIS) or Diploma in GIS
    • 1-2 years’ experience in instrumentation.
    • Understanding of survey tracking loops and measurements
    • Knowledge of GNSS remote sensing techniques
    • Experience with land survey equipment will be an added advantage
    • Requires a dedicated, innovative and pragmatic approach
    • Good at record keeping.
    • Practical knowledge of GIS Software
