Call for Consultancy - Political Economy Analysis Training of Trainers at World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Kenya

• The objective of this consultancy is to co-develop and facilitate a training of trainers and complementary support to ensure participants are in the best position to support peer-to-peer capacity on PEA.
• The consultant(s) will be responsible for delivering the activities described below. This approach can be adapted based on the consultation process. We also welcome modifications to the below in proposals where they would enhance the achievement of the objectives.
• Conduct pre-training consultations: Organise and conduct calls with participants to gain insights into areas to strengthen and to best tailor the ToT approach.
• Develop a training agenda: Collaborate with IC/GOV to develop a detailed agenda for the workshop. This should include a balanced mix of theory, practical exercises, and facilitated discussions aimed at deepening participants' skills and capacity. The workshop will need to offer both a substantive refresh on PEA and also a focus on skills needed for learning, mentorship, and facilitation.
• Prepare materials. This would include preparing any pre-readings or assignments, and handouts for the workshop.
• Facilitate the workshop: Lead and facilitate the ToT workshop in collaboration with IC/GOV team members, ensuring effective learning outcomes. The session should encourage interaction, peer learning, and skills practice, with a strong emphasis on practical application of PEA in real-world scenarios. In particular, each participant should walk away with a workplan / roadmap they can follow for providing support to the team they will be working with.
• Establish a repository of materials / learning summary. Produce a well-organised repository of resources used as well as notes from discussions and the course, with the aim that over time, this will inform the development of a training manual. This should include a summary of learning from the ToT process

We invite applications from a single consultant or a small team that offer(s):

• Minimum 7 years of experience in leading and developing PEAs.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in providing training related to PEA, with a focus on practical application and adult learning principles.
• Proven expertise in facilitation skills, with a track record of successfully training others to facilitate PEA workshops.
• Experience conducting PEA in WWF’s primary areas of focus, including conservation, climate change, and environmental sustainability.
• Knowledge of inclusive conservation, conflict sensitivity and human rights based approaches, desirable.
• Fluency in English is required
