Job Purpose

• Our client, a leading company in the automotive import industry, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Car Sales Intern to join its Sales Team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in automotive sales, customer engagement, and the vehicle import process.
• The successful candidate will support the sales team in assisting customers through the vehicle sourcing and purchase process while developing practical skills in consultative sales and customer relationship management.

Job description

• Assist in responding to customer enquiries through phone calls, email, WhatsApp, and social media platforms.
• Support the sales team in identifying customer needs and recommending suitable vehicle options.
• Prepare quotations and assist in following up with prospective customers.
• Maintain and update customer records and sales databases.
• Support lead generation activities through digital platforms and referrals.
• Follow up on customer enquiries to ensure timely communication and excellent customer service.
• Assist in coordinating customer orders and tracking the vehicle import process.
• Conduct market research on vehicle trends and customer preferences.
• Support the sales team in preparing daily and weekly sales reports.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
• Passion for sales and customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of motor vehicles is an added advantage but not a requirement.
