Chairperson, Capital Markets Tribunal at Judicial Service Commission

Job Requirements: Academic and Professional Qualifications::

• Pursuant to Section 35A (1)(a) of the Capital Markets Act (Cap. 485A), an applicant to be appointed as Chairperson, Capital Markets Tribunal must possess the following qualifications.
• Bachelor of Laws degree from a university recognized in Kenya; 
•  Be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya;
• Have at least seven (7) years of post-admission experience;
• Qualification and experience in alternative dispute resolution will be an added advantage;
• Have a high moral character, integrity, and impartiality (meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution on Leadership and Integrity).
