Developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's growth objectives
Overseeing the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans in collaboration with senior management and department heads
Monitoring financial performance against budget and forecast, analyse variances, and implementing corrective actions as necessary
Managing cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operational needs and investment opportunities
Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
Providing financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business planning
Leading the finance team in day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury management
Establishing and maintaining strong internal controls to safeguard assets, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators and financial institutions
Staying abreast of changes in regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and industry trends to ensure compliance and optimize financial performance
The Ideal Candidate :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
Any professional certification will be considered an advantage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Strong understanding of financial management principles, practices, and regulations, preferably in the forex or financial services industry
Proven track record of financial leadership, strategic planning, and driving business results
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism
