Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

• Be an advocate ofthe high court as an advocate with a proven Work experience of three (3) years within which he/she has appeared before superior courts representing clients in litigation.
• Bachelors of Laws (LL. B) degree from a recognized university in Kenya;
• Postgraduate Diploma in law from the Council of Legal Education;
• Has been in active member of the law society of Kenya for the last 5 years from the date of the roll as an advocate
• Possession of a current Practicing Certificate as an Advocate;
• Proficiency in computer applications; and
• Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
