Chinese Translator at KEDA Kenya Ceramics Company Limited

​​​​ROLE SUMMARY:

• Age Requirement-25-35years.
• Job Location-Miwani, Kisumu
• Required Number - 2 Positions (Open to all)
• Liaise and communicate between the Chinese managers on day-to-day duties and the local team to enhance work productivity and efficiency and translate directives between the managers and local team.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Act as a communication channel between the Chinese managers and the local staff. 
• Assist the Chinese HOD in weekly and monthly attendance management and monthly performance rating.
• Check the work status of local team leaders every day.
• Control working conditions of all local employees, report to the Chinese manager and deal with the problems of local employees in a timely manner.
• Be familiar with the operation skills of each post in the workshop/department, guide and correct operation of local employees.
• Any other duty assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND OTHER QUALIFICATION:

• Diploma/Bachelors' degree.
• Good in written and spoken Chinese. Preferably HSK Level 
• At least 1 year of experience as a Chinese translator.

• Good in written and oral English and Mandarin.
• High level of integrity.

• Able to supervise and manage employees.
• Self-motivated and can work under minimum supervision.
• Free accommodation within the company. Net Salary (Negotiable): Kshs 60,000-85,000 depending on HSK level and experience.
