    Commercial Director

    The Commercial Director leads all commercial and operational functions, ensuring efficient service, maximum customer satisfaction, and achievement of organic growth and financial targets. This role oversees sales operations, develops strategies to meet targets, cultivates client relationships, and determines pricing. Working through sales teams and with executive and regional management, the Director implements market penetration and conversion strategies for business unit profitability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maximize profitability through effective commercial and operational management, focusing on quality, performance improvement, and customer service. This includes:
    • Developing budgets and growth strategies.
    • Overseeing commercial aspects of branches and products.
    • Establishing efficient organizational systems and processes.
    • Managing branch and product profitability.
    • Ensuring client satisfaction and contract compliance.
    • Developing and executing strategic sales plans.
    • Setting and communicating sales goals.
    • Building strong customer relationships and understanding their needs.
    • Analyzing industry trends and communicating value propositions.
    • Forecasting sales, setting quotas, and managing pricing.
    • Driving Salesforce adoption.
    • Developing and motivating sales teams.
    • Analyzing sales data and providing key business insights.
    • Implementing regional marketing strategies for sales growth.
    • Reporting on lead and opportunity KPIs.
    • Coordinating sales reports and projections.
    • Recruiting, training, and supporting sales teams.
    • Driving product and service penetration.
    • Developing account plans for corporate clients.
    • Creating customer value plans.
    • Contributing to marketing and sales strategies.
    • Analyzing potential and value of customers.
    • Coordinating tender preparation.
    • Liaising with departments to resolve customer issues.
    • Managing price increases.
    • Submitting timely sales reports.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing (MBA preferred).
    • Professional marketing qualifications.
    • 10+ years relevant experience, with 5+ in senior leadership.
    • Knowledge of marketing management, PR, communications, market research, and product placement.
    • Strong IT skills.
