The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is an international non-governmental organization founded in 1961, working in the field of the wilderness preservation, and the reduction of humanity's footprint on the environment. It was formerly named the World Wildlife Fund, which remains its official name in Canada and the United States.
JOB SUMMARY:
This role is instrumental in implementing WWF-Kenya's communications and marketing Action Plan. This entails effectively cascading the Action Plan strategies to ensure their integration into our organization's mission, programs, initiatives and the Coastal Kenya Programme's communication plan. You will be at the forefront of our movement-building efforts, crafting captivating content that includes documentaries, web videos, picture stories, audio content, compelling written pieces, and infographics. This role is also instrumental in content development, transcribing our work and coaching our staff on public and media engagement in the Swahili language.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities however serves as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department and organization as a whole.
