KISWCD was started in 1997 and incorporated on 22nd June 2000. It was registered by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology on 22nd August 2002 as a training Institution [Registration no. MOEST/PC/758/2002] In 2016, in line with the TVET Act 2013, the institution was assessed and licensed to operate by TVETA - Registration TVETA/PRIVATE/TVC/0120/2016. The Institute is managed by a Board of Governors who are experienced in the areas of Social work, Educational Institutions Management, Business Management, Human Resource Management, Finance and Accounting, Psychology, Environmental Health, Counseling and Law among others.

    Community Health and Development - Trainer

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Community Health and Development Proven experience in teaching vocational, technical, or similar college-level courses
    • Excellent ability to design and deliver effective, engaging, and impactful instruction
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with individuals at all levels of the organization
    • Strong ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with others
    • Knowledge of KNEC/NITA examination procedures
