Community Outreach & Events Coordinator at Dhanush Iinfotech PVT Ltd.

• OUK is seeking a dynamic and personable Community Outreach & Events Coordinator to act as the key liaison between our organization and the local communities in Nairobi and surrounding areas.
• This role is instrumental in driving grassroots engagement through school partnerships, student events, influencer collaborations, and on-ground activations. Ideal for an outgoing, culturally aware, and well-connected individual, this position plays a vital role in expanding OUK’s presence and deepening our impact in the education space.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement & Partnerships:

• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with schools, youth organizations, NGOs, and local influencers to promote OUK’s programs and services.

Event Planning & Execution:

• Design, coordinate, and implement engaging community events, student forums, and outreach drives in alignment with marketing goals.

Student Engagement:

• Facilitate "listening circles" and community discussions to capture student feedback, concerns, and aspirations. Act as a trusted local contact for prospective and enrolled students.

Local Insights & Feedback Loop:

• Regularly gather field intelligence and share actionable insights with the central marketing team to shape more effective outreach strategies.

Cultural Localization:

• Adapt national-level marketing messages and materials to align with local cultural contexts, language, and sensitivities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Education, Community Development, or related fields.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in community outreach, education programs, or field-based marketing initiatives.
• Fluency in English and Swahili is essential, with excellent public speaking and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to travel frequently across Nairobi and neighboring counties.
