Company Driver at Kimisitu Investment Company Limited - KICL

The Kimisitu Investment Company Plc wishes to recruit 1 qualified individual as a driver.

Qualifications, Experiences and Skills Required

1. A valid driving license with classes A, B, C E
2. Must have a valid PSV license.
3. A valid certificate of secondary education form four (4) mean grade 'D' plain and above or equivalent qualification from recognized institution
4. Attended a first AID certificate lasting not less than 1 week at St. John Ambulance or institute of highway and building technology or any other recognized institutions
5. At least two (2) years driving/operating experience
6. Not more than forty-five (45) years
7. Must submit Certificate of Good conduct
8. Passed suitability Test for Grade 111
9. Passed Occupational Grade Test for drivers
10. Vehicle mechanic course from a recognized institution preferably government graded.

Duties and Responsibilities

•  Plan ahead to meet anticipated transport requirements.
• Ensure assigned car is fueled in good time and in good condition 
• Responsible and safely driving of company staff and any other official visitors assigned to the scheduled destinations.
• Ensure all logistics and movement of company goods and property is done with good care and precision.
• Responsible for the day-to-day care, maintenance and repair of the office cars.
• Cleans and routinely inspect the office cars; to check oil, water, brakes, brake liquid, tyre pressure, battery levels and the entire vehicle.
• Routinely check all vehicles licenses and insurances and alert the supervisor on renewals.
• Drive in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
• Accurately complete the vehicle log.
• Run errands for the office, delivery and collection of letters, bills et al.
• Promptly report involvement of an assigned office car in an accident, including minor accidents, damage, loss or theft of vehicle fittings.
• Keep a track of mileage.
• Make use of reliable sources to keep informed of road conditions and share any collected information with the office
• Ensure your driving license is valid and renewed on time
• Any other duties assigned from time to time
