Market Engagement Manager, M4D Agritech at GSM Association (GSMA)

About You

•  You have relevant experience in the ag r itech sector in l ow- and m iddle - i ncome countries (LMIC s )
•  Experience with agritech , digital financial services and /or mobile enterprise (B2B) services
•  You are experienced and/ or knowledgeable in:
•  Design, development and implementation of digital agritech services such a s digital advisory, weather or climate services and/or agricultural enterprise services ;
•  Working with financial service providers to design, develop products for rural segments ; e.g. mobile fin ancial services or agricultural insurance services ;
•  L everaging conventional and alternative data sources to generate credit scores and financial products; and
•  W orking with smallholder farmers and within agricultural value chains
•  You have a consultancy and/ or business development expertise, and good project management skills coupled with analytical acumen
•  You can clearly communicate and present complex concepts and with strong and compelling arguments in an influential and confident manner in the following contexts:
•  Interpersonal, e.g. 1:1 and informal group discussions with your peers and engagement partners;
•  Planning and leading multi-disciplinary workshops ;
•  CXO/board-level, including briefing updates and escalation; and
•  Public presentation at events and conferences
•  You have a proven track record of achievements under a range of challenging situations, ideally in LMIC context s
•  You are aware of the complexities in agricultural value chains including the agribusiness - farmer relationship dynamic
•  You can effectively engage in both a CEO board room and a rural farming community
•  You are an independent self-starter and can prioritise your own work in alignment with engagement and team priorities
•  Fluency in English and French is required
