Construction Foreman at Victory Farms

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Construction Foreman to support the successful delivery of construction projects. Working closely with the Construction Manager and Supervisors, the Foreman will ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role involves daily oversight of site operations, including task planning, execution, and quality control. The Foreman will be responsible for managing on-site resources such as labor, materials, tools, and equipment. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for this role.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supervision and Coordination: Directs and coordinates the activities of construction workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to plans.
• Safety Enforcement: Enforces strict adherence to safety regulations and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Resource Management: Manages materials, equipment, and manpower to optimize workflow and project completion.
• Scheduling and Planning: Develops work schedules, considering crew availability, project deadlines, and material procurement.
• Quality Control: Monitors construction work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Communication: Communicates effectively with project managers, supervisors, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
• Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves any issues that arise during the construction process.
• Training and Mentoring: Trains new workers on construction methods, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Budget Management: Monitors expenditures and ensures projects stay within the allocated budget.

Requirements

• Education level: Certificate or diploma in a skilled trade (Building Construction or Civil Engineering)
• Experience: Proven experience as construction foreman with an In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
• Leadership: Ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Safety Awareness: Deep understanding of safety regulations and procedures
