Job Description

• We are looking for a Construction Storekeeper to manage construction materials, tools, equipment, and stock at a construction site. The successful candidate will be responsible for proper receiving, storage, issuing, recording, and accountability of construction materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record all construction materials delivered to site.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Issue materials and tools based on authorized requisitions.
• Monitor stock levels and identify materials requiring replenishment.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with records.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and secure site store.
• Monitor material usage and minimize loss, damage, and wastage.
• Prepare stock and inventory reports.
• Work closely with the Site Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Procurement, and Project Management teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate or Diploma in Construction, Building & Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is a MUST.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in construction stores or as a Construction Storekeeper is required.
• Experience handling construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Good understanding of stock control and inventory management.
• Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy construction-site environment.
• Honesty, reliability, and attention to detail are essential.
