Consultant/Adjunct/Facilitator - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Factory Skills) at United States International University - USIU Africa

Reporting to the Project Coordinator / Director, Centre of Excellence in Pharmaceutical Innovations & Analysis (CEPIA), the candidate will be expected to support learning activities of the Dual Vocational Training of Pharmaceutical Production program in the School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Educational Qualifications and Professional Experience:

• A Master’s degree qualification (Should be registered for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or equivalent Doctoral Degree qualification) in relevant field.
• Must have worked in the manufacturing settings to the level of Production Supervisor or Manager.
• Be registered or registered with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
• Demonstrated potential for teaching as illustrated by years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lecturing in area of specialization in accordance with the syllabus;
• Coordinating course theory and practical work;
• Reviewing teaching/learning materials;
• Evaluating students and submitting progress reports;
• Supervision of students’ seminars/workshops or symposia;
• Developing and reviewing academic programs / curricula; and
• Supervising students
