Content Writer at PesaKit

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Write impactful and relatable articles
• Assist in curating all the content of a monthly magazine
• Work with the design team to populate the magazine with the right artworks and graphics to accompany the copy
• Review all articles to ensure brand uniformity and voice is maintained
• Research on what the consumer market trends are and keep updated on all manufacturing and retail trends
• Interview consumers, retailers, distributors, and manufacturers to get real-time data from the field and tell the interview subjects’ stories in creative and catchy copy

Qualifications and Skills Essential Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills;
• Bachelor’s Degree communications related field ;
• Proven ability to solve problems and challenges creatively;
• Excellent analytical skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google Suite office software and adept at learning and using technology platforms. Comfortable learning new technologies
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful;

Desirable

• Experience in article writing for online and published magazines;
• Some experience in sales;
• Training or experience in marketing is a plus;
• Experience in interviewing or journalism is a plus.
• Photography skills would be an added advantage
