Corporate Communications Assistant [3] - AN- Scale -KMTC 9 - 20 Posts at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC)

Duties and responsibilities at this level will involve: receiving and channelling incoming calls to the respective destinations; booking outgoing calls and facilitate conversations between callers and receivers; carrying out routine testing of exchange lines and switchboard facilities; maintaining records of telephone equipment and peripherals; updating the calls register by recording the necessary details of calls; confirming visitors’ identification documents; responding to customer enquiries and directing them to the respective destinations; maintaining a register of all complaints raised by customers / visitors; operating the switch-board; and providing good customer care service. 

For appointment to this level a candidate must have: 

• Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Customer Service, Public Relations, International Relations and Diplomacy, Communication Management, Event Management, Front Office or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution; 
•  Proficiency in computer application skills.
