Job Purpose

The Corporate Communications Personnel are responsible for effective and efficient coordinating of all Communications related activities including, public relations, digital communications, internal communications, sponsorships, events, brand and reputation management in the Agency

Job Specifications

Duties and responsibilities at this level entail:

• Implementing communications, customer and branding strategies to support the Agency’s objectives.
• Supporting activities to enhance the corporate image of the Agency.
• Monitoring internal and external media communication functions.
• Assisting in protocol management.
• Organizing Agency’s planned events and functions.
• Providing content in the development of Communication materials.
• Supporting implementation of the Agency Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and preparing reports.
• Responding to customer enquiries.
• Receiving, analysing and sharing customer feedback.
• Manning information desk services at public awareness programmes and outreach forums.

Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: -

• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: - Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication, or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
• Membership to the Public Relation Society of Kenya (PRSK) or Media Council of Kenya (MCK) or any other relevant professional body and in good standing; and
• Proficiency in computer applications;
