Cost Accountant at Peoplelink Consultants Ltd

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate product costing and cost analyses.
• Monitor production costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and inventory valuation processes.
• Prepare periodic cost reports and provide management with financial insights.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Work closely with production, procurement, and finance teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA(K), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Cost Accountant in a busy FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, inventory management, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem- solving skills.
