Counseling Psychologist at PCEA Kikuyu Hospital

Position requirements: -

• Bachelors Degree in Counseling Psychology from a recognized institution.
• Registration with KPA/KCPA
• At least 2 years post registration experience.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Provides appropriate interventions to assist patientswith their aliments.
• Assist in identifying patients with social, psychologicalrelated problems and provide appropriate interventions and treatment plan.
• Adolescence and youth counseling.
• Integrate mental health with physiological health issues,psycho-education and support of patients with chronic illness to adhere totreatment and creating awareness about the importance of taking care of mindand body.
• Provide individuals, families and professionals withsupport and educational information about psychological conditions.
