Credit Control Intern at Reeds Africa Consult

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in tracking outstanding invoices and following up on payments
• Update customer account records and reconcile account balances
• Support the preparation of aging reports and debt collection summaries
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding overdue accounts
• Work closely with the sales and finance teams to resolve payment issues
• Maintain proper documentation of communications and payment plans
• Help enforce credit policies and escalate risks when necessary

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Recent graduate with a diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Basic knowledge of credit management principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems is a plus
• High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion with sensitive data
