Credit Officer at HomeBiogas

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain partnerships with banks, SACCOs, and financial institutions in Meru.
• Facilitate efficient loan processing and disbursal procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance turnaround times.
• Conduct regular assessments of partnership effectiveness and propose improvements.
• Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the loan application process.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Prepare reports on loan processing metrics and performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in credit management or financial services. (Must)
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
