    Curriculum Coordinator

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Program Development – Design and develop comprehensive educational programs that cater to the needs of disadvantaged communities, ensuring they align with the foundation’s mission and objectives.
    • Curriculum Design – Collaborate with educators and curriculum specialists to create relevant and engaging curriculum content that meets national standards and is tailored to the unique needs of the target audience.
    • Teacher Training – Organize and conduct training sessions for teachers and volunteers to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver effective and impactful lessons.
    • Monitoring and Evaluation – Implement a robust monitoring and evaluation framework to assess the effectiveness of educational programs, track progress, and make data-driven improvements.
    • Resource Management – Manage educational resources, including textbooks, learning materials, and technology, to ensure their proper distribution and utilization.
    • Community Engagement – Work closely with local communities, parents, and guardians to build trust, involve them in the educational process, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
    • Partnerships – Collaborate with government agencies, other non-profit organizations, and educational institutions to establish partnerships that enhance the foundation’s impact and reach.
    • Budget Management – Develop and manage the education program budget, ensuring responsible allocation of funds and adherence to financial guidelines.
    • Reporting – Prepare regular reports for the foundation’s leadership and donors, providing updates on program activities, achievements, challenges, and recommendations.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • A bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
    • At least 5 years of experience in Educational Programs Management, preferably in non-profit organizations.
    • Strong understanding of educational principles, curriculum development, and teaching methodologies.
    • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
    • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders.
    • Experience in monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, and reporting.
    • Knowledge of the Kenyan education system, policies, and challenges is a plus.
    • Proficiency in computer applications and educational technology tools.
    • Passion for education and social impact.
    • Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by underprivileged communities.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and excellence.
    • Adaptability and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
    • Integrity and a commitment to ethical practices.
