Brief Description Of The Assignment

Economist to support the PFM strategy reform in PASEDE Project, Kenya. This assignment is a part of the Mid-Term Evaluation of the progress achieved under the PFM Reform Strategy as per the request from PFM Reform Secretariat. The expert will report to the Team Leader of PASEDE project and will be in the project office in Nairobi with the ability for potential trips to other counties.

Requirements
- Master’s Degree with specialization in Economics, Public Finance or Business Administration from a reputable university; or
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics in Public Finance or Business Administration or other related areas and an additional 2 years of experience relevant to the terms of reference
- At least 6 years of general professional experience
- At least 3 years of experience in economics, finance, or a related field
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
- Membership in a recognized professional body is an advantage
