Data Analytics Specialist at Sama

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage data to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Data Analytics, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets, creating reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends and patterns.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data and support decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and business objectives.
• Utilize statistical methods and tools to interpret data and provide insights.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports  and dashboards that effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement based on data analysis.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data audits.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4-6 years experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Google Sheets, Excel, Python, R, Data/Looker  Studio, Looker, or similar).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of data governance and best practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with data engineering and  machine learning concepts and techniques is an advantage
• Familiarity with financial data and processes
