Our client, a leading brand in IT services is seeking to recruit a Data Centre Implementation & Support Engineer

Roles

• Maintain and enhance documentation for hardware, software, and firmware as it relates to
• configurations, changes, problems, standards, procedures, and processes.
• Assist and coordinate problem determination activities with other groups such as Server, Database, and Network management.
• Advising of creative technical solutions
• Provide a professional, prompt and high level of technical support to all problems assigned
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years’ experience in DellEMC/NetApp/HP/IBM Storage with VMware
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Mixture of intermediate and advanced knowledge of multiple major vendor platforms – Storage Area Networks (SAN), Enterprise Storage Arrays. This includes DellEMC, NetApp, HDS, IBM with VMware
• Hands on experience on LUN creation, allocation and de allocation of LUNs, LUN Mapping, Zoning, merging and zone segmentation concepts
• Experience in SAN/NAS, Reporting, & Event Monitor, performance analysis and improvement at storage level, system health check and storage capacity planning
• Experience in install & Configure Brocade, Cisco SAN fabrics and Integration with Servers and Storage
• Backup experience with NetBackup/Data Domain and TSM a plus
• Knowledge of Operating System concepts (Linux, Windows, Solaris) would be an added advantage
• Must have 2-3 Certification, VMware VCP Certification is Must
