Dentist at St. Lukes Orthopaedics & Trauma Hospital

JOB Description:

1. Meeting with patients to discuss and treat dental concerns, performing regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a plan for better oral hygiene.
2. Providing dental care including diagnosing common oral conditions, treating, prescribing and referring.
3. Carrying out minor oral and maxillofacial surgery.
4. Paediatric, Prosthetics and conservative dentistry.
5. Facilitating admission, disease investigations of patients, report writing and assisting in theatre activities.
6. Collecting information on dental health information system.
7. Organizing discharge summaries and follow up of patients.
8. Managing and communicating with other staff members to provide care to patients.
9. Follow company policies to ensure proper discretion and procedures are used.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
2. Successfully completed one-year internship from a recognized institution.
3. Certificate of registration by Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board
4. Retention certificate.
5. Should satisfy the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution.
