    Deputy Director, Manuscript Services: KNEC Grade 3 (1 Post)

    Job Specifications

    • Managing the process of receiving, documenting, storing, and retrieving examination/assessment manuscripts;
    • Preparing departmental work plan, procurement plan, and budget;
    • Appraising the performance of Assistant Director, Manuscripts Services Officers, Principal Manuscripts Services Officers, Senior Officers, and Manuscripts Services Officers;
    • Implementing Quality Management System for continual improvement;
    • Implementing Council and Management decisions;
    • Advising the Director, Test Development on any issues relating to Manuscripts Services.

    Person Specifications

    • At least twelve (12) years cumulative relevant work experience, four (4) of which should have served at management level;
    • Bachelors Degree in Education (Business Studies) from a recognized institution; OR Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from a recognized institution; OR Bachelors Degree in Business Studies (Secretarial Studies) from a recognized university;
    • Masters degree from a recognized institution;
    • Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
    • Demonstrated professional competence and administrative capability as reflected in work performance and results; 
    • Proficiency in computer applications
