Job Description
Assisting the Director in:
Overall organization and coordination of the Research, Policy and legislation
Development, Legislation and Implementation within the county.
Collecting and analyzing relevant data on policy issues from sectors in the county.
Organizing symposia, conferences, workshops and other meetings to promote the exchange of views on issues relating to policy Development in the county.
Disseminating information generated from Policy Development activities in the county to the relevant stakeholders and sectors.
Developing and maintaining a reservoir of resources on policy and other related issues and make them available to stakeholders.
Setting up units or desks in all sectors for easier coordination of Policy Development activities in the county.
Developing policies and procedures in collaboration with sectors and stakeholders.
Establishment of a mechanism for regular reporting and sharing of information updates and airing of concerns from sectors and stakeholders.
Provide linkages with county assembly for collaboration within the county focusing on Research & Policy Development
