Deputy Registrar at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture Technology

Applicants must possess:

• PhD in Management related field and
• Three (3) years’ experience in grade 13 or equivalent

OR

• Master’s degree in either Social Science, Human Resource, Public Administration or any relevant area from a recognized institution and
• Five (5) years’ experience in grade 13
• Applicants who have acted as Deputy Registrar, Grade 14 for at least six months will have an added advantage

In addition, all applicants must:

• Have attended training(s) on administrative skills such as organization, teamwork, communication, time management, multitasking, conflict resolution, planning & coordination, problem solving and judgment, leadership & motivation, teamwork & collaboration, accountability, attention to detail, relationship building, strategic focus, organizational awareness and be results and service oriented
• Be knowledgeable and experienced in working with computerized information systems such as HRMIS, ERP, SAGE
• Have wide experience in management and processes of Institutions of higher learning
• Have demonstrated leadership qualities
• Be conversant with the requirements of Kenyan Constitution, National Laws and Policies governing University education
• Be of the highest ethical standards, integrity and professionalism
• Be a member of a relevant Professional Body where applicable
