We are seeking a highly motivated Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. If you have a strong background in structural design, technical sales, and project management, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Product Design: Manage the design process for various products, including structural analysis and preparation of detailed technical drawings.
Cost Estimations & Quotations: Conduct cost estimations, prepare bills of materials (BOM), and draft accurate quotations for clients.
Site Surveys & Client Interactions: Perform site surveys, take measurements, and meet with clients to gather project requirements and offer tailored solutions.
Technical Support for Sales: Provide technical assistance to the sales team to convert inquiries into actual sales.
Research & Development: Collaborate on R&D efforts to customize products and ensure they meet client-specific needs.
Project Oversight: Supervise site assessments, measurements, and installations to ensure quality execution.
CAD Drafting & Structural Design: Use design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, e.t.c for structural design and preparation of detailed shop drawings.
Project Management: Oversee the progress of ongoing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Technical Sales Conversion: Engage in technical sales activities, assisting in converting inquiries into successful projects.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Building and Construction, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in design drawing and calculations.
Project Management: Experience or qualification in project management is highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Prokon, E-Tabs, or similar design tools.
Communication Skills: Strong ability to interact with clients, stakeholders, and teams to ensure project success.
